Spotlight Session Insight

Thank you to all who attended the BarnOwl Spotlight Session on the 30th March 2023, where Jade demonstrated the Internal Audit review and sign–off process including how to raise review notes in documents and all other PFO items, as well as bulk review items. In the session, Jade demonstrated how to send items (such as documents) with review notes back to the preparer and how to close review notes and sign off documents within the PFO as well as sign off all other PFO items and how to perform a bulk sign off.

Upcoming Info Sharing Session

South Africa has been greylisted by global financial crime watchdog the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) for not fully complying with international standards around the prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing. This will have a negative impact on the economy, specifically because it will raise the cost of capital and frighten away investors.

Upcoming Spotlight Session

BarnOwl invites you to our upcoming Spotlight Session where we will show case BarnOwl’s recently released version 11. Version 11 offers our clients a fresh, modern and simplified web-based user interface utilising the latest web-based technology.

 

Version 11.1 replaces BarnOwl Lite, however by 2024, Version 11.4 will incorporate most of BarnOwl’s extensive desktop app (‘rich’) functionality and become the default user interface for risk management, whilst the desktop app (‘rich’) will be used by administrators only.
