Since the implementation of the BarnOwl software at the municipality we have had the full support of the BarnOwl team.
Challenges
We required a tool for internal audit working papers and to enable the risk management process. We required a tool that could contribute to linking the 2 disciplines and also aid the Combines Assurance process. The BarnOwl team also assisted extensively when we started with Combined Assurance implementation.
Benefits
The use of BarnOwl has created efficiencies in the Internal Audit process. In the Risk Management process we have also seen a more efficient process as all action owners are able to update directly onto BarnOwl. The system is relatively easy to use as not much training was required to enable the broader Risk Management community.
